CHECK CASHING

How much does it cost to cash a check at Checks-2-Cash?
Check cashing fees are set by the NJ State Department of Banking and are currently set at 2.21% of the face value of the check. Social Security and SSI checks are currently set at 1.5% of the face value of the check.


Does Checks-2-Cash cash personal checks?

Yes we do! The check must have the funds in that particular account the day we are cashing it. Our professionals are the best in the business. If we can't cash it, the check isn't good.


Do you have a limit on the size of check you can cash?

No. All sizes big and small - we cash them all whether it be a $100 payroll check or a $100,000 settlement check!

BILL PAYMENT

How much does it cost to make a bill payment?
The bill payment fee for almost all bills is currently $2.00.

When is my payment received?

Most accounts are credited within  0 to 1 days of payment. Please contact the CHECKS-2-CASH most convenient for you to find out which stores are authorized.

Can I make a partial payment?

Most utility companies will accept partial or minimum payments for account credit.

Do I need my bill to make a payment?

YES. We are not able to look up your account numbers. If you need a duplicate copy of your bill, please contact the utility company.

WIRE TRANSFERS

How much do MONEY GRAM wire transfers cost?
The cost of a wire transfer depends on the monetary value and the destination of transfer. Please contact any CHECKS-2-CASH location, or MONEY GRAM, for detailed pricing information on your money transfer needs.

How long will my MONEY GRAM wire transfer take to get to its destination?
Transfers sent domestically are typically available within 15 minutes. Transfers sent internationally may take up to 24 hours to become available. Please contact the CHECKS-2-CASH most convenient to you for more information. Please visit www.MONEYGRAM.com and select Order Status to obtain the status of your money transfer. You will need the sender's name and the reference number to determine if the money is available for pickup.

What will the receiver need to do in order to pickup the money?

Recipients may pick up the money transfer at any authorized MONEY GRAM  location. You will need to complete a "To Receive Money" form with the following information: name, address, amount expected, as well as the sender's name, telephone number, and the city/state it is being sent from. Valid government issued identification with a photograph (such as a driver's license) is needed.

If the receiver can’t pickup the money whom do I call?
